The class will begin with an introduction and history of the 1031 exchange and navigate through: statutory requirements, methods of exchanging property under 1031, deferred exchanges under 1031 regulations, reverse and improvement exchanges, tax consequences of an exchange and the most common questions asked of a 1031 attorney. 1031 Exchanges are becoming more and more popular and we believe it is time to educate those who would like to utilize them.

Learn the history of title insurance, types of deeds, alternatives to title insurance, and explore real issues related to title problems and how title insurance can help.

This course is designed to improve the ability of real estate agents to draft and negotiate repair requests. The second half of class focuses on transactions and contract situations that differ from typical residential transaction, and must therefore be handles with greater care and attention to detail.

Realtors will be taught about the real estate closing process, compliance with the law, issues with lender's instructions and items of concern in the purchase agreement.
